Minnesota Police Pull Over Car To Find “Pregnant” Woman And Seven Kids In Stolen Car

Cops these days never know what they will find or who they might encounter when they pull over a car. It’s become as frightening for them as it is for the drivers who get pulled to the side of the road.

When they pulled the car over, they found it packed with a reportedly pregnant woman, the driver, who claimed she was going into labor and on her way to the hospital, along with two men and seven children.

Most oddly, several of the kids’ mouths were taped shut with clear Scotch tape. Mind you, five of the children appeared to be under age five, so when an older child told officers the little ones had taped their own mouths shut, it might have sounded more than a little unlikely.

After running the plate, officers discovered the car had been stolen in Missouri. And when they moved in to do a search, besides smelling a strong odor of marijuana, they found an unregistered Taurus .40 caliber gun. Most disturbingly, right near the kids in the back seat sat a fully loaded magazine for the weapon.

Upon questioning, 26-year-old Deszion Marquese Wraggs admitted the weapon was his. He also admitted he did not hold a gun permit for the firearm, making it illegal. As cops continued grilling Wraggs, they learned that the seven children in the car were all his own.

Although an ambulance took the female driver to the emergency room, it’s unclear if she was really pregnant at all. Medical personally examined all the kids, who were then sent home with other relatives.

Wraggs was charged with child neglect, as well as theft of a motor vehicle. No court date has yet been set.
