In this day of phone cams everywhere you turn and ever-escalating “jackass” type pranks, no one can let their guard down when it comes to participating in outrageous stunts.
That’s a fact that one Russian teen completely forgot while under the influence of good vodka, which she was downing copiously at a local nightclub. Lured into a false sense of security when boys preceded her in a stripping contest to supposedly win a new iPhone X, Yevgenya S. (as she has only been identified), convinced herself it was all for a good cause: namely, saving a grand’s worth of rubles on a new and pricey mobile device.
So, the young woman in Troitsk, Russia got up and started removing everything, until nothing was left on her but some panties. Clutching her own breasts and clearly uncomfortable, Yevgenya nonetheless still hadn’t figured out that the joke was on her.
When the event MC told her to remove her last vestige of clothing for the coveted prize, promising to shield her from the wolf-like crowd while she did so, she complied, leaning over as the phone cam videoing continued, all of which would soon go viral.
In the end, the only thing Yevgenya got was a good reminder not to be so gullible. Instead of her prize, she was given back her own phone, which had been taken from her bag when she was busy disrobing for the crowd.
But her dignity wasn’t all that was stripped away from the poor girl. She was kicked out of her teaching college once the video of the escapade hit the internet and went viral, a school that her mother had scrimped and saved to pay for by working several jobs. Mom Elena had no sympathy for her daughter or the fallout, so to speak, either.
“She is not 15, she should think with her own head,” Elena said, adding that her child too often “does what others tell her” to do.
