Social media has been playing a guessing game about whether or not Ari Fletcher and Moneybagg Yo are still coupled up. And it all started out with a slew of tweets, then the twerking video that went viral- leading people to assume they were together just like nothing had ever happened between them… but we know better than anyone what really goes down when you use the Instagram.
In July 2021, the 26-year old took to IG and shared some interesting thoughts. From talking about how karma works in a funny way or hinting at something going down between two people she knows well enough for it not to be private anymore (you know what I’m talkin’ bout), this set off plenty of eyebrow-raising moments!
Moneybagg Yo also shared some feelings in a now-deleted post. “The crazy part about s–t is that MFs that will talk to you every day will get on an app and express how they feel before dealing with it in real life,” the rapper posted in IG.
Fans quickly took the series of posts to mean that two had parted ways. And once a twerking video went viral, social media was convinced things were shaky between them too! But, Ari and Moneybagg quickly put the issue to bed.
Ari explained the video, saying, “That’s Greg I was dancing on. I treat my gay male friends just how I treat my female friends. I would never disrespect my relationship or purposely try to embarrass my n***a. We just are playing around, I’m done giving y’all certain energy cause I see all jokes ain’t funny.”
In a now-deleted post, Moneybagg also chimed in to share that he’s not an insecure man and urge everyone to stay focused on what they have going on in their own lives.
