Kerri Bunker and Kelli Wall are identical twins, and couldn’t be closer. They’re so close that you probably will not believe the story we are about to tell you…
Their lives have always intersected. Kerrie met her husband at Kelli’s wedding and both had trouble trying to get pregnant. When doctors told each sister it would be very hard for them to conceive naturally. They both turned to alternative methods.
After trying IVF (in vitro fertilization), both Kerri and Kelli were able to get pregnant. And believe it or not, they both had twins!
And the story just gets better… Several years later, Kelli became pregnant again using IVF and delivered twins again!
When Kelli shared the good news with Kerri, she thought maybe she should try to get pregnant too.
“I don’t even know what made me think I could be. There was nothing, I mean nothing. And it was just [like], ‘why not?’ I found out I was pregnant the day she found out she was having twins.”
Kerri was also pregnant.
They were both pregnant with twins at around the same time.
For twin sisters that couldn’t bear children, they couldn’t even describe how they felt. Kerri explained,
“I still can’t even believe it! My mom and dad said, you know what, obviously these babies need to be here. There’s a reason. So we’re chalking it up as a miracle and it’s all part of our little plan!”
