A grim Gerard Butler returned to his Malibu home on Saturday to find it completely destroyed by the fast-moving Woolsey fire.
And on Sunday he shared an Instagram of the devastation as he stood in front of the remains of the building and his burned-out truck.
The 48-year-old captioned it: ‘Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating. Heartbreaking time across California.
‘Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit, and sacrifice of firefighters. Thank you @LosAngelesFireDepartment. ‘
And he ended with a heartfelt plea saying: ‘If you can, support these brave men and women at SupportLAFD.org.
The actor, who hails from Scotland, looked worried as he emerged from his property followed by his girlfriend Morgan Brown.
Both were wearing heavy green jackets, jeans, boots, and face masks around their necks.
Authorities have ordered the entire evacuation of Malibu as the fast-moving Woolsey blaze moves towards the Pacific Ocean.
They are just the latest celebrities to be hit by the massive fire which has engulfed at least 700,000 acres and many structures since it started on Thursday.
Singer Robin Thicke lost the Malibu home he shares with model April Love Geary and their baby.
Camille Grammer from RHOBH also saw her home completely destroyed.
She said on Instagram, ‘Sadly my house couldn’t be saved. The courageous firefighters were able to save my cars and personal items recovered from my home.
‘I thanked the fire captain and his team of firemen for all of their hard work.’
This is the home she purchased after selling the one she lived in with her ex-husband Kelsey Grammer of Cheers and Frasier fame.
Will Smith, 50, and his family evacuated the area as did singer Cher, 72, and Lady Gaga, 32.
Kylie Jenner, 21, along with step-sister Kim Kardashian, 38, and her children North, five, Saint, two, and nine-month-old Chicago were also evacuated.
